If the God cannot infringe upon or remove mine or another’s agency, what do we mean when we say that God all powerful? If God cannot control agency He cannot surely be all powerful, at least not in the way that people speak as though He can and could do anything and everything. If agency is absolute and eternal then God can not prevent evil, even evil as horrific as the holocaust, without becoming himself as heinous as we say the Nazis were. So what does it mean that God is all powerful? What did Jesus mean when he said that all power was given to him in heaven and earth? These are questions that have been on my mind as I continue my effort to know God and Jesus Christ who he sent.
