What are your thoughts on Jesus Christ?
Virtually all modern scholars of antiquity agree that Jesus existed historically.1
So it would be unwise and against the evidence and consensus for us to refute his existence, so what about his claim of being the literal Son of God? Well…
You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse.2
So what is your choice? I’ve made mine.
Even if Christ appeared today and told me he was the Son of God and performed a miracle in front of me, I’d still have to decide whether I believed his claim and that it was a miracle I had witnessed and not just a coincidence.
It’s always been this way, even for those early disciples who first chose to believe and follow him.
Belief is not optional, we must all choose to believe something. So I choose to exert my will to believing that Jesus is the Son of God. And the more I’ve come to know him, the easier it has become to believe him.
How about you?
