I don’t know if our secular efforts at DEI are good or in harmony with what I believe as a Christian, but when I read “he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.” It almost sounds like a heavenly type of DEI mission statement. Perhaps it isn’t that the idea of DEI is wrong or evil, but that we, like so many other heavenly principles, apply them incorrectly. Just a thought.
