Date number seven was a double date photo scavenger hunt around downtown Bedford, England. Still Cassandra and I were not officially dating. At some point we found ourselves separated from the other couple and deep in conversation about how our relationship was unfolding. Looking back I see how Cassandra, as an American many miles from home in a foreign land with a boy she recently met, was justifiably hesitant to pursue anything more serious than going on fun dates. How grateful I will always be that Cassandra in a hollowed out tree took the greatest gamble of her life and made me her boyfriend with a perfect kiss.
