Having a bill due and not the means to pay it is a problem that money can solve. Being unable to provide the necessities of life is another problem money can solve. But when it comes to life’s real problems, money is never going to be the solution. It can’t solve the problems of pain, suffering and dying. It doesn’t solve our character defects. It won’t solve our insecurities or imperfections. Indeed, more money may actually magnify and amplify life’s real problems. As I heard recently “money doesn’t fix your problems, it only makes them prettier”.
