The disparity between what we do and how we treat our beloved on Valentine’s Day ought not to be that big. Of course it is good and fun to do something a little special or different, but if our words and actions on Valentine’s Day are so uncharacteristic, even unrecognizable from the rest of the year, this could be a key indicator that we might be failing or falling too short in our role of being loyal and loving spouse.
