It is one thing being sealed for time and eternity in the house of the Lord, but it is a totally different thing wanting that to be true. One goal I have is to be forever creating a marriage that is growing into the kind of relationship that I will want to live within for eternity. Eternity is after all a very long time so living forever with someone we don’t love or feel unkind feelings toward might be the actual definition of hell. I am not speaking of perfection now, only of growth in that direction. I must always strive to become the kind of man that Cassandra will want to spend her eternal life with. She likewise must also strive for the same. Perhaps only then will we want the blessings that were pronounced upon us in the Idaho Falls Temple all those years ago to be true.
