To get Xmas, all you need to do is cross Christ out of Christmas.
The most recent census in Great Britain was the first time that less than half the population identified as being Christian.
Eventually Christmas will become nothing more than a Santa saturated commercial celebration. That is, unless we stop this downward trend and begin to not only refocus our lives of Jesus Christ, but to also redirect others to Him as well.
I think one of the single greatest inhibitors to our seeing and hearing Jesus in our lives is that we too infrequently stop to think and be still.
In a world where everything is screaming for our attention, we must consciously choose to unplug and reconnect with Jesus.
That connection can start right now, where we are today, by humbly taking to our knees and talking with him. This simple act of faith is sometimes the most neglected. But prayer in my experience is the thing that makes all the difference.
